Laser Cut Skulls

Carl Stevenson in London, England, of Paperfiction, created this laser cut popup skull card and vinyl skull decals.

Lasers are awesome. These creations reconfirm that I need to play with a laser cutter. The precision they create, lend themselves to being used for fantastic designs like these. Carl shared these pieces with us, but check out his Etsy shop, Paperfiction, for more awesome creations.

[BONUS] Papercraft Skulls In-Use

Melanie Church is "a librarian at Greenlease Library at Rockhurst University in Kansas City, MO. I found your papercraft skull online and thought it would be perfect for the spooky side of our fall book display. The student assistants who work at the circulation desk had a lot of fun making these. They were an even bigger hit than the hand-turkeys we made the week before."

We love seeing the Papercraft Skull being used! This festive Autumn display of papercraft skulls, origami frogs, much approved scary books, and other seasonal artwork is great! I'm glad the student assistants enjoyed making them and the response was so good.

DIY Paper Skull

Artist Lorna Love from New Zealand sent us one of the paper craft skulls she made using a design she  created with inspiration from the Skullmaster's 72. Papercraft Skull.

Skull Card

Jennifer Ferrell, created a skull card for Halloween.

Receiving a card is always a nice way to know someone is thinking about it. Receiving a hand made personalized card oozes love. Jennifer created the skull by tearing and aging white cardstock. She used a stamp set for the spider and web designs. She placed a red rhinestone in the misshapen eye, to resemble a pirate's eye patch. For more of Jennifer's work, visit her blog, Ferrellgraph.
