Flower Power :)

Not just floral necklaces, but also a partial body painting with flowers to match an out fit made from flowers! This weather has inspired me to keep up the florals till its too cold out ;)

Thank you Adrienne, for helping me practice this paint job for the fashion show this weekend!

Sunday Simulacra - Version 6.18

Today's Simulacra can be found hiding in the garden.

First up is Carlton K at Spiderbite Studios in Richmond, VA who found this cluster of mushrooms growing in his backyard.

Our next foundling is from  Linda K. Williams in Tucson, AZ who discovered this old stem of snapdragons flowers that produced these cool skull seed pods.

Parterre C says:

As the days begin to noticeably shorten, and the liveliness of our surroundings start their dormancy it is wonderful to see how our surroundings are symbolizing what we know is happening under the surface. Thank you both for sharing your simulacra finds with us.

Keep sending those pictures in, we always love seeing what our skull hunters find. Anyone is welcomed to participate, it's fun and it's easy- if you see a simulacra skull, photograph it and send those pictures in to our submissions address with a little something about what it is really and maybe a little about you.

Here are two designs from this summer to accent your legs ;)

I had fun doing this simple design for this super cool asymmetrical skirt that was in the Hull Street Festival Fashion show!

Painted necklace with wristlet !

I almost didn't post this in order to save it for Favorite of the Month. But I like it sooo much I have to share it now :) The wrist isn't a conventional place for body paint, but I did it there as a practice for the neck. I sprayed a non-toxic sealer on it so it stayed on all night :)

Paisley Yumminess ...!

I was really excited to paint this piece, clearly inspired by the wearers skirt. Tedious work, but worth it ;)
